Marcus Redd



An established and well-respected photographer, founder of Marcus Redd Mediaworks (MRM) media company in 2006.  Previously based in California, now Atlanta based, MRM is an icon in the media industry and well know for pivotal branding, innovative style and natural aptitude for beauty and fashion.

Marcus’s first foray into the world of media started with photography, it wasn’t until the year two thousand he first started to experiment with film. He immediately found fine form, and there was no doubt he held an innate ability for creating perfect composition and lighting. As his knowledge and love of film progressed, he started to experiment with editing, the final pieces finding Marcus acclaimed as a talent in the industry and establishing the foundation of his media career.


With more than twenty years of photography experience under his belt, Marcus has proven it possible to build a successful career in an industry renowned for having a revolving door. Considered one of the best in his field, Marcus has been afforded the opportunity to work with many notable celebrities, including Sidney Poitier, Cicely Tyson, Jamie Foxx, Nancy Wilson, Angela Bassett, Tyrese Gibson, Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, Boris Kodjoe, Nick Canon, Bill Duke and many more world known celebrities. As comfortable in the studio as he is at a live event, Marcus has shot events from the ordinary to the extraordinary, including elegant weddings and private events such as the Indianapolis 500, Absolute Vodka, Nike, Fed Ex, Millennium Momentum Foundation and Art Hearts Fashion (Los Angeles Fashion Week) to name a few.


Not only a competent photographer, Marcus has also proven himself the complete package, adept in graphic design, music production, video editing and cinematography. The final pieces produced by his studio published in leading magazines and websites the world over. Marcus firmly believes the bare minimum is never enough, approaching every task in his life with a dedication to ensuring it is completed with the ‘wow’ factor.
